If you're NOT currently on The Motability Scheme, the TRL would like to hear your views
27 November 2020
TRL (the Transport Research Laboratory) is currently running a study exploring people’s views of the Motability Scheme, which helps disabled people to lease a new car, powered wheelchair or scooter, and their wider mobility needs.
You can take part in this research if you either:
- Receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component (DLA), Enhanced Rate Mobility Component (PIP), War Pensioners Mobility Supplement or Armed Forces Independence Payment, but you are NOT using the Motability Scheme
- Are an appointee, guardian or carer of someone (including a child) who receives any of the above mobility allowances, but is NOT using the Motability Scheme
The research involves completing a 15-20 minute online survey. During the survey, you will have the option of entering a prize draw for a chance of winning £100 in Amazon vouchers. Please click here to complete the survey.
At the end of the survey, you will be asked if you would like to take part in a remote discussion with a small group of other participants and TRL researchers to talk about your views in more detail. The discussion group will be held via Zoom (accessible via an Internet browser) and will last between 1 ½ - 2 hours. If you are selected to take part in a discussion group, TRL will contact you within 14 days of you completing the survey to arrange your participation, and you will receive £25 in Amazon vouchers for taking part.
Survey closes: 7th December.
