RCPCH &Us and British Paediatric Surveillance Unit: New Project

24 March 2021

RCPCH &Us and the British Paediatric Surveillance Unit (BPSU) are supporting a project about rare conditions with young people aged 13-25 who live in the UK. This follows their previous short survey to hear the voices of young people who have a rare condition and live in the UK, and how it's been during the pandemic.

The RCPCH Children and Young Peoples Engagement and Participation Team now want to use the survey responses to form the start of a new project and plan an event for other young people and professionals about living with a rare condition.

You will meet together and review the findings from the survey and explore how to make a fun and engaging event that will make a difference. You will also have some fun and get to know each other. This session will take place over the Easter Holidays. The details are below:

  • Date: Wednesday 31st March
  • Time: 10.00am -2.00pm (with breaks and lunch)
  • Location: MS Teams link to follow

If you want to take part in a project, meet other young people, or help plan an event for other young people then they would like for you to get involved. If you would like to be involved, please complete the parental consent form and e-mail Emma at: and_us@rcpch.ac.uk for the meeting link.

If you would like more information about the project or have any questions, please get in touch with Emma on the same email as above.
