Study to Explore the Quality of Care Received by Children and Young People on Long-Term Ventilation

11 March 2019

This study is currently being conducted by NCEPOD (National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcome and Death) who are looking to explore the quality of care received by children and young people on long-term ventilation (including non-invasive) aged 0-24 years.

They will use the anonymised results to report back to health professionals about how to improve the care they deliver, and guidance for patients and families on what care they should expect to receive.

Information is being collected across the whole of the UK, and they are asking both patients and parent carers for their views.
