Survey About Your Child’s Experience Of Sport & Activity
12 September 2019
We believe disabled children and young people deserve the same opportunities and experience of taking part in sport and physical activity as their non-disabled peers. Activity Alliance, a national charity, wants to hear from parents and disabled children about their experience of sport and activity.
If you are a parent or carer of a disabled child who lives in England, please help Activity Alliance to understand yours and your child’s experiences of sport and physical activity. They are looking to hear from parents of children aged 5 to 16. This includes school years 1 to 11, including those who have just left year 11.
The online survey will take around 15 minutes to complete. There are questions for you to answer as a parent or carer, and some questions for your child. They want to hear from people who have had good or bad experiences, and from those who are very active and not active.
As a thank you for taking part, they will run a prize draw for the chance to win one of ten £25 Amazon e-vouchers. The prize draw is open to people aged 18 and over who provide their email address after completing the survey.
Your answers will help Activity Alliance to shape their services and support other organisations. They will use the findings to advocate for change on a national level that enables more disabled children to be active.
