2023 Harrington UK Rare Disease Scholar Award

The Harrington UK Rare Disease Scholar Award is issued by Harrington Discovery Institute and its registered UK charity Fund for Cures UK, and is a grant award programme to advance promising research into novel treatments for rare diseases. In addition to grant funding (£100K guaranteed, with the potential to qualify for an additional up to £400K), the award includes guidance and oversight in all aspects of drug development, while taking no rights to intellectual property, which is retained by you/your institution. The call for Letters of Intent is now open.

- UK academic medical center or university or nonprofit research institute
Letter of Intent** is due: 18 July 2022
Full Application, if invited to submit, is due: 10 October 2022
**Letters of Intent are very brief and only require the following: Project title, 250-word project abstract, 250-word Intellectual Property summary; Multiple choice questions (choose from a list of options): stage of development, primary therapeutic area, additional therapeutic areas, therapeutic modality, type of research; and attach a biographical sketch (NIH format preferred).
