Clap For Our Carers
On Wednesday 26th March at 8pm, millions of people across the UK joined in with a round of applause to say thank you to all those currently working on the NHS frontline (this is now happening every Thursday evening at 8pm). Across Britain, monuments, buildings and bridges also turned NHS blue, from London’s Shard to Manchester Central, the Tyne bridge and the SSE Hydro arena in Glasgow. This now takes places every Thursday at 8pm.
Huge thanks goes to all those on the NHS frontline, as well as health professionals, clinicians, key workers, emergency service workers, supermarket staff, transport workers, volunteers, and everyone who is working and helping in these difficult and uncertain times in the battle against the coronavirus.
