Teenagers (13-17 years) Living With SMA
The photo boxes below take you to a wide range of topics and information which include tips and experiences directly from others. There are also links to other useful websites and organisations. Many topics are likely to involve your parent(s) / guardian(s). To make it easier to read we often just refer to ‘parents’ in the text. If you are a parent / guardian reading this, there may also be useful topics in the ‘Children‘ or the ‘Adults’ sections as well.

Sometimes called ‘Transition’ this is all about what you as a young person want and need for your future. It covers much more than your SMA. It is never too early to start thinking and talking about it.
If you find anything has changed, a link does not work or would like to share your experience to help others, please email: information@smauk.org.uk
