These pages are written for you as a teenager who has SMA. Hopefully they cover many topics that might be of interest. They give you some basic information and provide you with links to other useful websites and organisations. They include tips and experiences directly from others. Many topics are ones that are likely to involve your parent(s) / guardian(s). For ease of reading we have often just referred to ‘parents’ in the text.

If you are a parent / guardian reading this, there may also be useful topics in the ‘Children‘ or the Adults’ sections as well.

If you find anything has changed, a link does not work or would like to share your experience to help others, please email: information@smauk.org.uk
