We are looking for a new Treasurer to join SMA UK’s Board of Trustees as Katharine Jackson will be stepping down from the board after 5 years’ service.

The role as Treasurer is critical to the success of the charity to ensure we, as a charity, are governed correctly, are financially stable and secure and therefore can maximise any funds received ensuring we can support anyone affected by SMA.

The Treasurer will be a qualified accountant,  with experience of financial oversight, reporting, budgeting and risk management. It is desirable that the candidate will have experience of audit and governance experience however charity experience is helpful but not essential.

Please note this is a voluntary role.
