Ben is a partner at an international law firm and has 12+ years’ experience advising some of the world’s fastest growing technology companies.

Ben has been an advocate within the SMA community since 2020, when his son was diagnosed with SMA Type 1. He has also acted as a patient expert for the SMA Newborn Screening Alliance, and the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) – and has been involved with several other charities that support SMA and/or children with complex physical needs.

Ben is also a mentor at BiteLabs’ healthtech fellowship programme.
