Dan has been involved in SMA advocacy for the last six years due to an impacted family member.

Professionally, Dan is Head of Government Relations for an international mining, energy and cleantech business, and also a Senior Advisor to a London based think tank. These roles build on an international career in business leadership. Dan has lived and worked in all regions of the world leading teams focused on market access, corporate relations, and country leadership. Dan has also served on a number of private sector and government advisory groups most recently while based in Singapore.

Dan was appointed to the Board of Trustees in November 2024.
