Our FlexiGrants support all those living with SMA. We have two grant schemes which are open to all.
Applications may be made to one or both. Decisions are made as quickly as possible.
FlexiGrant 1: To help with the costs of accessing NHS-funded treatment or assessment e.g. travel costs.
- A maximum grant of £500 may be made every year. In very exceptional circumstances this upper limit may be higher.
FlexiGrant 2: To assist with buying items that support independence and alleviate hardship.
- A maximum grant of £600 may be made every year. This grant is paid directly to the supplier and cannot be issued directly to the person. In very exceptional circumstances, or for a specific piece of equipment, this upper limit may be higher.
