A brand new space for families, run by families!
If you are a parent, guardian, or primary carer and are looking to connect with other families from across the SMA Community in the UK, want to make some new contacts, learn from other families experiences and chat in a safe space, this new WhatsApp group could be just the place for you.
The group has two parent moderators (Amy and Becky), who both have children with SMA, to provide support, advice and assistance. They play a crucial role in ensuring the group runs smoothly, effectively, and safely.
What makes this space different is that SMA UK’s Outreach Workers are also part of the WhatsApp group. They are here to assist Amy and Becky, and to help with any information shared or questions asked.
