2025 is SMA UK’s 40th Anniversary!

Since the charity’s founding, there have been huge advances in diagnosing, treating and living with Spinal Muscular Atrophy.  SMA UK has played a vital role in supporting families and individuals living with the condition, as well as funding life changing research and campaigning on all issues facing the Community. 

Although there have been many positive developments, there is still a lot to be done to ensure that we can fulfil our mission of Supporting, Advocating and Informing for the SMA Community. 

Join us in 2025!

To help us to continue our vital work, we are launching our ’40 for 40’ Challenge with forty fundraising ideas set for 2025.  There is something for everyone to get involved in, from our virtual event, Marathon in May: Big 40, to our Daring Dive skydive in June.
