Ugene is the SMA UK Mascot, who made his first appearance at the London Marathon in April 2023.

His aim is to travel the UK raising awareness of SMA and helping our amazing fundraisers to raise even more when they are taking part in events!

He has been designed to represent the faulty SMN1 gene, which causes SMA.
