There are hundreds of running events you can enter to raise funds for Spinal Muscular Atrophy UK; below are a just few of our favourites.

Once you have signed up to an event please contact the fundraising team on 01789 267520 or email fundraising@smauk.org.uk

We will then send you a fundraising pack and an SMA UK running vest or T-shirt if you would like one. Our team are always on hand to support or advise and we would love to hear from you!

Great North Run – 8th September 2024

All our of SMA UK Charity Places for the Great North Run 2024 have now been allocated.

If you have your own place in the Great North Run and would like to fundraise for SMA UK then we would also be very happy to support you, so please do get in touch.

Inflatable 5k Runs

The world’s largest and best Inflatable 5K is coming to the UK throughout 2024 and has got even Bigger, Bouncier and Better!

You will tackle 32 gigantic obstacles on the 5K distance. Combined with five pumping music zones to motivate you around the course, this years Inflatable 5K is the most epic yet!

There are four different distances – 2.5K, 5K, 10K, 15K – to choose from and to celebrate your achievement, all runners will get an awesome medal and finishers prizes worth over £20!
