Anne-Marie is a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist in Leeds, where she has led the children’s regional neuromuscular service since 2000.

She is active in clinical research and Co-Chair of the Yorkshire and Humber NM Forum. Anne-Marie has worked closely with multidisciplinary colleagues in the REACH network, industry and charity to ensure high quality care for all those living with SMA.

She is a member of the NHS England clinical panel and Managed Access Oversight Committees for Nusinersen and Risdiplam, working to optimise equitable access to novel therapies. She is delighted to be a medical trustee for SMA UK and to support their work with the wider community.
