SMArt Moves grant for wheelchairs up to the value of £5,000
SMArt Moves grant to fully fund powered and manual wheelchairs that cost up to a maximum of £5,000. We will fund the following:
- Powered wheelchairs
- Manual wheelchairs
- Tiny Trax or equivalent (e.g. specialist buggies)
What is the application process?
This round of applications will remain open until 30th September 2024.
We require the following documents in order to review your application:
1) Quote from a supplier with your name on. This can include new or second hand wheelchairs.
2) Assessment from an OT or physio acknowledging this piece of equipment meets your needs.
3) Proof that the applicant has a confirmed SMA diagnosis.
