There are hundreds of running events you can enter to raise funds for Spinal Muscular Atrophy UK; below are a just few of our favourites.

Once you have signed up to an event please contact the fundraising team on 01789 267520 or email fundraising@smauk.org.uk

We will then send you a fundraising pack and an SMA UK running vest or T-shirt if you would like one. Our team are always on hand to support or advise and we would love to hear from you!

London Marathon – 21st April 2024

Our Charity Places for the 2024 London Marathon have now been allocated.

We are delighted to be able to offer a small number of places for the 2024 Great Birmingham Run. Places are available for FREE we simply ask that you raise as much as you can in sponsorship.

We have charity places available for this event. Entry fee is £50 for the half marathon and £100 for the full marathon with a minimum sponsorship target of £500 per entrant.

Great North Run – 8th September 2024

We are delighted to be able to offer a small number of places for the 2024 Great North Run. Places are available for an entry fee of £25 and we would ask that you raise a minimum of £500 in sponsorship.

Inflatable 5k Runs

The world’s largest and best Inflatable 5K is coming to the UK throughout 2024 and has got even Bigger, Bouncier and Better!

You will tackle 32 gigantic obstacles on the 5K distance. Combined with five pumping music zones to motivate you around the course, this years Inflatable 5K is the most epic yet!

There are four different distances – 2.5K, 5K, 10K, 15K – to choose from and to celebrate your achievement, all runners will get an awesome medal and finishers prizes worth over £20!
