This grant is to help with the cost of travel to one of the Regional Neuromuscular Centres (RNMCs) for NHS-funded disease modifying drug treatments only.

People often have to travel to one of the Regional Neuromuscular Centres (RNMCs) for NHS-fundeddisease -modifying drug treatments.

This grant can no longer provide access to all NHS appointments. It concentrates on offering support to receive one of the three NHS-funded disease modifying treatments. It can also supports with the appointments directly related to the treatment received.

Your referring NHS Trust and the treating or reviewing NHS Trust should always discuss and advise what travel and accommodation costs they can provide. We ask that you include this information, with details of any hospital transport and accommodation provided to you in our grant application.

We do not means-test, but we do ask everyone to keep in mind that these funds are limited.

When you apply, we require:

travel receipts

booking confirmation of any accommodation.
