Here is everything you need to know about our Picnic in the Park in Cardiff!

Register online here and bring your booking confirmation with you on the day, either on your phone or printed out.

It’s free to attend, for adults and children who have SMA and their immediate family / PA and for families bereaved by SMA.

By registering here for your ticket here, you will receive:

  • Entry to St Fagans National Museum of History
  • Free Coffee, Tea, Soft drinks and refreshments
  • Meet some of the SMA UK Community Support Team
  • Children’s entertainment with face painting

  • Dedicated parking spaces for disabled visitors are provided adjacent to the main entrance.
  • Wheelchairs available on request, free of charge provided on a first come first served basis.
  • Wheelchair access is possible to most parts of the site. However, due to the historic nature of some of the buildings, some access may be difficult.
  • The terrain on the Castle side of the Museum is steep in places and may prove difficult for some wheelchair users and their helpers. A map clearly displaying a suggested path for wheelchair users, and identifying steep gradients, is available.
  • The food outlets, Y Gegin and Y Gweithdy are accessible to wheelchair users.
  • Accessible toilets are available at the Main Entrance, adjacent to the Rhyd-y-car cottages and in the Castle Yard.

There are two ‘Changing Places’ facilities available including one with an electronic bed and hoist in addition to the toilet and other facilities there. Ask a member of staff for details.
