When we hear of an issue affecting many within the SMA Community, we make it a priority to act.

Portia Thorman, Advocacy Lead at SMA UK say’s,

"Working closely with the community, we are able to bridge the gap between people living their lives with SMA and the organisations who can make a difference. As Advocacy Lead I can take stories of real experiences to NICE, pharmaceutical companies, parliamentarians and government departments in order to influence positive change for everyone living with SMA."
