Education Secretary Seeking Views On Funding For Children With Special Needs

The Education Secretary, Damian Hinds, is at a conference of the National Association of Head Teachers today where he is expected to make an announcement calling for a fresh look at educational funding for children with special needs in England.

This is following growing concerns that schools and families are struggling to receive enough support, and comes as the Department for Education prepares its case to the Treasury for improved funding for schools as part of the spending review in autumn.
