“Think 3” Awareness Campaign Launched Today for Parents and Carers

We are pleased to have helped develop this campaign by Novartis Gene Therapies, in collaboration with TreatSMA, MDUK, and representatives from Newcastle University, the RCPCH (Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health), the BPNA (British Paediatric Neurology Association) and the Institute of Health Visiting.
The campaign aims to raise awareness of three motor developmental milestones that babies are expected to reach at up to 3 months of age so that those not reaching them are identified and referred quickly; these could be signs of SMA or another neuromuscular condition.
It's aimed at three different audiences: Parents/Caregivers; Allied Health Professionals and Healthcare Professionals. The messages have been carefully tailored for the 3 groups.
The campaign for parents / caregivers is launched today with a dedicated radio day alongside wider media outreach featuring Dr Sarah Jarvis, GP & media medic, and Rob Burley from Muscular Dystrophy UK.
